South Lyon came out fired up in their matchup with former KVC team Brighton. But things turned out the wrong way. Leading the scoring was Anthony Baskin with 3 touchdowns, and  Nick Evans kicking. Justin Butler threw for 1 touchdown. Leading the Offense was Anthony Baskin rushing for 110 yards  and receiving for 34 yards. Max Kondrath with 26 yards . Justin Butler throwing for 49 yards and A.J. Thweatt receiving. Leading the Defense Eric Tyahla,and Anthony Baskin with 8 tackles. Casey Chamberlain with 6 tackles, David Loveland with 5 tackles.

     The Lions came out strong in this inter conference game cross over. Leading the Lions was Anthony Baskin with 2 touchdown runs of 4 yds each, and Jake Geise getting a 15 yd Touchdown run, and Nick Evans geting the extra points in 2 of the scores and jake got a 2 point conversion himself. Justin Butler was .500 in passing. Rushing leaders were Jake Geise with 76 yds rushing and Anthony Baskin with also 76 yds rushing and 114 all pupose yards.A.J Thweatt had catch for 40 yds, and David ferguson witha 24 yd reception. Defense was lead by Eric Tyahlas,Jake Geise, and Craig Blatchford. Tackles for losses were by Anthony Baskin, and Matt Bache.

Homecoming game started out with Justin Butler throwing a 30 yd pass to Anthony Baskin for the score and Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Justin Butler threw another touchdown pass of 24 yds to Joe Powell and Anthony Baskin running in for the 2 point play. Anthony Baskin then had a 7 yd Touchdown run  with Nick Evans kicking to end the half 23-14. In the second half the scoring continued with Justin Butler running for a touchdown of 10 yds and Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Nick Evans then  added to the lead on a 25 yd fieldgoal. Anthony Baskin then had a 50 yd touchdown run and Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Leading Defensive players were David Loveland with 2 Interceptions, Leading Tacklers were Casey Chamberlain, Jake Geise, Jared Elliott, Tyler Schaeffer, David Ferguson, and Joe Powell.

The LIONS started the rivalry in strong fashion as all players played in this first game between both schools. Scoring from the first play from scrimmage Anthony Baskin ran 46 yds for the score. Anthony then ran again for a 9 yd Touchdown run, then the Defense stepped up and Joe Powell ran a interception of 55 yds to score for the defense and Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Anthony Baskin had a run of 15 yds for the score and Nick Evans kicked the extra Point. Jake Geise got in for a 16 yd touchdown with Nick Evans kicking the extra point.The Big Man Eric Wedesky scooped up a fumble to score a touchdown for the defense on a 35 yd run. Jake Geise scored before the hlf ended on a 20 yd touchdown score with Nick Evans kicking the extra point, making the half time score 47 - 6. In the second half everyone played and the scoring continued Jared Elliott had a 1 yd run, Paul Zoratti scored on a 1 yd run with David Ferguson kicking the Extra Point, and rounding out the scoring was Will Marnell scored on a 36 yd run and David Ferguson kicking. Leading tacklers were Anthony Baskin, Jake Geise, Joe Powell, Eric Tyahla, Max Kondrath, and Ron Slaven.

South Lyon came out and scored first with Will Marnell running in a 7 yd TD run, with Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Then with 1:20 left in the second quarter Jake Geise ran in a 34 TD run with Nick Evans kicking the extra point. but Novi came back to tie it before the half. 14- 14 at the Half.  Then South Lyon Didn't score until the 4 th quarter by a 10 yd run by Anthony Baskin and Nick Evans kicking the extra point.
Leading Rushers Anthony Baskin with 156 yards, Jake Geise 55yds, Will Marnell 51 yds.
Justin Butler with 94 yds passing
Receivers were Anthony Baskin 52 yds, Will Marnell 30 yds.

The next scoring came on Anthony Baskin's touchdown run of 85 yards. and running in the 2 point convertion was Jake Geise.
South Lyon couldn't overcome the turn overs. Leading rusher was Anthony Baskin 135 yds, and Will Marnell 88 yds.

In the first ever playing Walled Lake Central in Football and playing in the Big Prep Day Showdown at EMU on Friday Morning at 11:00am.
The football team shook off early jitters to beat Walled Lake Central. The jitters ended when Anthony Baskin scored on a 64 yard touchdown run in the second quarter, with Nick Evans kicking the extra point. Anthony also added a 26 yard run with Nick Evans kicking the extra point later in the half as the Lions took a 14-0 halftime lead.
Justin Butler threw a 35 yard touchdown pass to Will Marnell in the third quarter of action to give the Lions a 20 - 3 lead.
The defense stepped up against the spread offense of the Vikings as the defense made the vikings commit 4 turn overs and getting two of them.
Leading Tacklers on defense were Jake Geise, Jarred Elliott and Eric Tyhala.
Ben Bond, and Matt Bache recovered the fumbles for the Lions.
